Sports and Athletic Training
North Bay Therapy is compassionate about providing athletes with the most adequate and accurate services. North Bay Therapy offers athletes specialized therapy and professional advice on preventing injury and achieving training goals. Our goal is to help the injured athlete return to the playing field as quickly and safely as possible.

We currently provide athletic training services to Biloxi and D’Iberville public schools. Our athletic trainers are health care professionals whom are certified by the NATA Board of Certification and Licensed by the state of Mississippi. Our Athletic Trainers are knowledgeable in many areas, such as: Injury Prevention, Acute Care, Evaluation of Athletic Injuries, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries, General Medical Conditions, and Nutrition.


Kyle A. Cheke, M.Ed., L/ATC

Kyle is a native to Panama City, Florida. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of West Florida in 2013. There he worked with several Escambia County High Schools as well as the Men’s and Women’s UWF soccer and tennis teams. Shortly afterwards he earned his Masters of Education in Exercise Science at Auburn University in 2014 (War Eagle!). While at Auburn University he worked as graduate assistant with the Warrior Athletic Training Program in Fort Benning, Georgia. There he helped to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries for U.S. Army basic trainees, in addition to aiding with several research projects at Auburn University in the School of Kinesiology.

Kyle is currently working with d’Iberville High School as a NATABOC Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Mississippi.

Danielle Millan, MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, CES, CSS

Danielle is a native of Ventura, California. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Exercise Science from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 while competing for the NSU softball team through out her undergraduate career. After she graduated she moved back to California and worked for various football teams (high school and semi-pro) and completed athletic training duties for a physical therapy clinic. She then accepted an internship position as a certified athletic trainer at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. During this time she completed her Masters of Science in Health Promotion and Exercise Science with a concentration in Rehabilitative Sciences from California University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She holds additional certifications as a certified strength and conditioning specialist, corrective exercise specialist, and certified speed specialist.

Danielle is currently working with Biloxi High School as a NATABOC certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Mississippi.
